On Assignment Healthcare has an immediate long-term contract opportunity for a qualified Nephrology RN with a Dialysis Center in Houston.

This RN will be working as a Field Service Specialist covering multiple centers around the greater Houston Region. This will be a full time position with some travel between centers required.

Additional Information:
• Set up and provide training for specimen collection and use of order/entry application at all newly contracted facilities.
• Perform essential presentations to facility personnel including but not limited to:
o Laboratory specimen procurement and processing
o Manual requisitions
o IATA packaging
o Laboratory Payor Compliance
o Falcon Lab Order Entry Software
• Adjust training style to accommodate the learning needs of the facility
• Tailor implementation services to meet individual customer needs
• Provide detailed summaries and updates to Project Manager during implementation phases
• Maintain customer relationships post go-live
o Routine calls to all facilities
o Routine on site visits
o Review operational metrics monthly with all assigned facilities
• Respond to customer’s needs in a timely accurate manner; works with various business departments to resolve customer issues or to meet their needs
• Proactively monitor and troubleshoot laboratory issues
• Work collaboratively with facility teammates and their various departments to meet shared goals and expectations (i.e. Directors, FAs, RNs)
• Provide Sales Team support with new and existing prospects
• Participate in all Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives
• Maintain expenditures and travel within department budget guidelines

Minimum Qualifications:

• College Degree or equivalent work experience required
• 5 years Healthcare Industry Experience required
• Previous implementation experience of EMR’s or Laboratory Information Systems required
• Associate’s or degree in nursing is preferred
• Experience as a Dialysis Facility Administrator is preferred
• ANNA Certification as a Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Dialysis Nurse (CDN) preferred
• Current nursing license in good standing in state of practice preferred
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as RN in nephrology including familiarity and practical experience with hemodialysis and/or peritoneal dialysis preferred
• Previous management/supervisory experience as a Head Nurse, Charge Nurse, Clinical Coordinator, In-service Coordinator, Clinical Training Coordinator, or Quality Management Coordinator preferred
• Computer Skills: Strong computer and typing skills required with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Microsoft Outlook e-mail application and Internet access/usage.

This entails being able to acclimate to different populations, diagnoses, and instructinal formats grounded in the science of Behavior Analysis. This also involves working intensely with patients with severe behavioral disorders displaying aggression and presenting with varying diagnoses and symptoms.

Qualifications:
Non-degree or Bachelor’s degree in Behavior Analysis or a related field
Previous experience teaching children with disabilities, especially autism population
Previous applied behavior analysis (ABA) experience (preferred)
CPR and First Aid certification from Red Cross or American Heart Association
Effective oral and written skills
